Do people buy albums for the cover art anymore? I do. I didn’t know Hawk Nelson were Christian let alone Canadian until after I owned the album and started on some deep research.  Hell, I didn’t know if this was a band or one of Willie’s offspring.   But honestly, how can you deny that little puppy? And with those adorable glasses he can read the latest edition of ROAD magazine.  Neil and company have really outdone themselves this month, ugh.  Of course I won’t be able to actually read through it as I get ill both with and without the provided Giro 3-D glasses…
This might be the first Christian album I have bought since Stryper and if I remember correctly I bought that for the cover art as well.  Hawk Nelson’s music you ask?  Not sure, but I do know they have a song about Lord Stanley called, “Ode To Lord Stanley”.  I am pretty sure you can’t write a bad song when it involves Lord Stanley, dekes, rinks, or dangles before bulging the twine top shelf stick side.
