Asides

• Surgery went amazingly well. I have been in several conversations about the brilliant nature behind the "specialist". I suppose it is similar to watching a lead out man in the peleton or a hawk after prey. They simply have a job and expect results. Their training and long hours are not meant to be over looked but Dr Wagner worked with such precision and accuracy you can't but be in awe...and of course grateful. I wonder what the nurse thought when I awoke thinking I was a Na'vi  - I may have even been speaking the Na'vi language. #
• Nordstrom has conquered the urge to celebrate Christmas before Thanksgiving. They have been doing this for several years.  It is great to see, although... I am still looking for their angle.  Perhaps logistics?  When does their fiscal year end?  Are they adverse to carrying inventory? errrr.... bah, humbug? #
